Jeanette Côté Bouncing on a bungee was on my 60th birthday wish list and I was fortunate to be able to book my introductory session as a 1:1 with Louis. I was a little concerned about my ability and any risks to life and limbs as a mature woman. However I felt safe, not at any risk and had the most fun doing exercise that I’ve had in years. I’m looking forward to my next bounce!

Chris Penn Returning to the Gym after 20+ years was a daunting task. So many times my mind had talked my heart out if it, but one day I decided to go and check this one out. I was greated by Sam Payne one of the PT instructors and staff members and not only did he give me a tour, he listened to why I was looking to return to the gym and put me at ease. Since joining Sam has been a great influence and has helped me take stock of what needs doing, and we have worked on a plan forward. Hes an absolute asset to The Gym Group. The other staff are always helpful and on hand too, they are always keeping the gym tidy when not instructing or helping others. The atmosphere itself is great, theres no threatening or judgemental vibes here. Everyone of all shapes and sizes are here to work out and better their health. If youre worried about joining, dont be, this is the best of the Gyms in the Farnborough area. Lots of equipment, open space, great lighting and airy. Not dark or moody. P.S. If you prefer to come at quieter times (SEN) then The Gym Group app allows you to see what times are the quietest and plan around that (that was a tip from Sam Payne). People also have no issues with you wearing in ear earphones or massive cans if you want to block out everything and concentrate on your session.

Lei Hang I’ve been a member of this gym for years. The staff there are all friendly and very helpful. Plenty of equipment and it’s clean there. I generally go to the gym late mornings/ midday to avoid the busy times, as I don’t really want to wait around to use things.

Luke Not sure why this app has so many bad reviews, other than that maybe there is some sort of personal vendetta against the owners by an individual. It’s fairly obvious that most of the 1 star reviews are written by the same person and often mention the owners which would indicate someone has a personal issue and is making intentionally malicious reviews. I have used the app from its inception, and whilst there were initially a few bugs and teething problems, it’s has improved massively into a highly functional app that has worked perfectly every time for me. I have booked in to numerous gyms, including Basecamp and I’ve never had an issue. If people had a genuine problem with the app, they would just contact the support team, not go straight to Google and leave a 1 star review. Something stinks here and it’s not GymBuddy.
