5 /5 Chris Penn: Returning to the Gym after 20+ years was a daunting task. So many times my mind had talked my heart out if it, but one day I decided to go and check this one out. I was greated by Sam Payne one of the PT instructors and staff members and not only did he give me a tour, he listened to why I was looking to return to the gym and put me at ease. Since joining Sam has been a great influence and has helped me take stock of what needs doing, and we have worked on a plan forward. Hes an absolute asset to The Gym Group. The other staff are always helpful and on hand too, they are always keeping the gym tidy when not instructing or helping others. The atmosphere itself is great, theres no threatening or judgemental vibes here. Everyone of all shapes and sizes are here to work out and better their health. If youre worried about joining, dont be, this is the best of the Gyms in the Farnborough area. Lots of equipment, open space, great lighting and airy. Not dark or moody. P.S. If you prefer to come at quieter times (SEN) then The Gym Group app allows you to see what times are the quietest and plan around that (that was a tip from Sam Payne). People also have no issues with you wearing in ear earphones or massive cans if you want to block out everything and concentrate on your session.

3 /5 A D: I do love going to this gym but the cleanliness is not great. Theres no stations for you to clean the equipment before or after use. The only cleaner I have seen actually clean in the evenings is a blonde lady, the rest just kind of walk around doing nothing

Sorted straight away Scott even remembered my name the next time I saw him, great customer service…Thanks m8 Just add …. Csaba is a gym group employed PT instructor at Farnborough He is always welcoming & polite, doubtless to say a top instructor too Well worth paying for some session Have used many gym group gym’s, Farnborough being the cleanest, well set out and tidily put away weights all the time Always cleaning & tidying Well done guys

5 /5 Henry Kay: I’m just moving away from the area, and I’m writing this review as a bit of a thank-you to the Gym Group team in Farnborough. I’ve been working out here for a couple of years, and I have to say it is the best gym I’ve ever trained at. The gym team are great - Sam really helped me rebuild my leg routine after an injury. The kit is top notch, and very reliable (once you get used to the calibration in pounds!) A massive call-out to Zofia the cleaner - she really keeps the place spotless, as well as being a friendly face. If you are looking for a gym in the area, look no further. I moved here from Nuffield Health - saved lots of money, and actually got much better and more available gym facilities.

2 /5 Kat Ball: It is wheelchair accessible in that it has a lift (one of the ones you hold the button the whole time while travelling). But there are extremely narrow entry barriers, that I would struggle with even with my crutches. Please update the listing to reflect this. I have to take my money elsewhere
