Mayflower Gym - (Near , UK)

5 /5 Giorgio Cerro: Great gym in the city centre. Never super crowded, always clean and all the equipments are in perfect conditions. Price is cheap, especially if you are a students (with a few extra quid per months you can also have access to the Jubilee sport centre).

Ill start by saying the negative aspects, 1: opening and closing times are a joke. 2: membership price its 3x higher than what it worth, used to cost £15 and now costs more than JD gym and offers 90% less equipment, services and everything 3: equipment its low quality and alway damaged 4: cable machine is not a dual channel 5: toilets lack of paper always 6: some staff are rude Please justify the above, before charging £29.99 a month, I would keep the previous amount if youre not willing to improve. Only positive thing is that , its close to my place and that has olympic barbells

1 /5 The Autistic Songbird Graelwyn: Opening hours appalling, closing at 6pm on weekends. Not as if universities dont get a lot of money. Many machines often out of order and were not fixed for weeks. Shame as it is so close to me but far too small, waits to get on machines or use weights and frustrating.

5 /5 Stephen Earls: Decently sized gym, nice and modern. Definitely preferred going here over Jubilee. Wish it was open longer, and at its best at the off-peak times. Unfortunately had to stop going to uni gyms after the price hike in student membership.

2 /5 Peter Kavazis: Little equipment and I had no way of cancelling my membership online or in-person. Instead you have to email them and cancel the membership 7 days before the month you want the membership to end. This led to me being charged for an extra month. Very scammy for a uni gym. Also, they suddenly changed the gym opening hours because of staffing issues. Instead you had to travel to Jubilee sports centre if you wanted to access a gym during those hours. I would’ve given them one star if the staff wasn’t polite.
