3 /5 Persia: I got a deep condition + Express steam and Cornrows. I arrived at Hapin at 16:00 and even paid for an Uber to get here on time. When I arrived the woman that was going to do my hair didnt even know that I was supposed to be coming and was doing someone elses hair(Apparently the client wanted to change her hairstyle at the last minute). I waited in the store for 2hrs30m to get my hair done. At 20:00, I departed from the salon. This rating would have been one star if it werent for the deposit I paid, the guy @hairboyldn, and the positive experience I had with one of the other hairdressers in the past (I think she was the owner; shes a wonderful lady who knows what shes doing).I did receive a £15 discount, so my final payment was £55. The woman wasnt angry and was courteous but its ridiculous that I had to wait for two and a half hours. I spent four hours in the store altogether.

1 /5 Francess Horton: Recommended my aunt to this salon as shes been looking for somewhere to regularly get her natural hair treated and trimmed. I always walk by this salon when I visit my mum and know that the owner is Gina so assumed it would be of good standard. My aunts appointment was at 10am and she arrived at 9:45am. When she arrived the salon was closed and she waited outside until 10:07. The stylist then arrived and had no courtesy to apologise for being late. When my aunt made mention of this, their response was "oh its only 7 minutes past" and still no apology. If you are receiving clients from 10am, you should be at the salon before hand to set up and get ready before clients arrive. And in the case where youre late(which is understandable as these things happen), the right thing to do is to apologise to your customer for keeping them waiting. There was no acknowledgement of this and after arriving, the stylist then proceeded to clean and tidy the salon. If youre claiming to be a luxury salon, you should have cleaned and tidied before receiving clients. Very unprofessional and bad customer service. My aunt will definitely not be returning back

2 /5 Paige Green: I would not go back here, they forgot what service I booked, my hair is natural I booked a wash and trim and blow dry, they forgot started blow drying my hair instantly, the girl did not take time to detangle my hair, and tried to do it in four sections, used and large comb did not detangle the ends, for blow dry after wash and pulled at my scalp, i also had to ask the girl to use a heat protectant as she started blow drying my hair with no products , after it was washed, the stylist came to trim, I had to ask her to blow dry the roots properly as the tail comb was pulling my hair as she tried to comb it through because it was still tangled I had a versatile weave the top is too tight I called texted and left a voice note to arrange to have it loosened no one replied and the hair is not blended very well, Ive had difficulty blending my hair with the extensions I feel disappointed and I dont feel that the girl who washed and blow dried my hair is trained, I will have to take it out soon as it is far too tight and the service was very expensive, I just felt rushed. I just hope I still have hair when I remove the weave I you go here please wash and blow dry your hair yourself first as their not great with natural hair

1 /5 Michelle Smellie: I really wanted to have a good experience with this salon, but it was a total disappointment. I spoke to the owner Gina who agreed to do my hair for my wedding. We spoke over the phone and she gave me her personal number and we were able to Whats app about the style that I wanted. For weddings, its super important that our hair is done right and she seemed like the right person to do my hair. On the day of my appointment, I got to the salon and sat there for 15 mins before one of the other stylist came to me and told me that she was sick. I was obviously horrified as I had no back up plan. I understand that people get sick, but no call, no message - nothing to this day has come through from this woman. Its unreal. I had to leave with no back up plan. Ive never experienced such unprofessionalism in all my days! The WORST part of this all is that her profile popped up on my instagram - and yup, the week she was supposed to do my hair, she was profiling in Italy on vacation. Gotta love it. In any case I am warning you about this salon, dont waste your time or money. And dont ever book this place if you need a good job done and you appreciate quality and professionalism. One star- do not recommend
