5 /5 Ryan Jans: An incredible place to train. The facilities are world-class. The coaching is genuinely outstanding and there’s a wide range of instructors, so every style and approach is covered and the coaches are deeply invested in their students. The gym is also exceptionally well run, from day-to-day organisation to communication and admin. But what really sets this place apart is the community. Every kind of person trains here, all mixing together, all welcomed, supported, and valued. That sense of connection is what makes this gym special.

All of the trainers are fantastic, but a special thank you to Jason and Evelyn, who have truly gone above and beyond to support and encourage me throughout my journey. From reception to the owner, everyone is so welcoming and friendly, you feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. I originally thought I’d only last a couple of weeks, but I’ve enjoyed it so much that, four years later, I’m still excited to continue training. I couldn’t recommend Roger Gracie Academy Marlow highly enough.

My son has been training here for around 3.5 years, starting with Jiu Jitsu and more recently Kickboxing, which he absolutely loves. From day one, we’ve felt completely at home - it’s a welcoming, supportive community that we’re genuinely grateful to be part of. The coaches are fantastic and have had a huge positive impact on my son’s focus, discipline, and confidence. Their consistent support and encouragement really shows both on and off the mats.
