5 /5 Carlos Hernandez: 4.5/5 but sooo close.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. Always seem in a good mood. I did two weeks unlimited, came every day, and both mornings and evenings everyone was great. I love that every day is “pick your own adventure” - if you want to do spin, weights, reformer? No problem, every day there are multiple classes of each. This is what makes it special.
The STRENGTH class with Alex Castro is so good. Great music and focus on form for each individual. Same with Oliver Lee, really great motivators. Small classes make it feel less intimidating and personal. SPIN.. with Queenie and Mark are the best I’ve ever done. Between LA and SF, truly never have had better instructors. Classes are tough, challenging, and most importantly fun - for every level. But this is because the instructors make it that way. Psycle fits my desire for a Barry’s + Soulcycle experience but with better workouts and well designed studios. And changing routines!!
I only wish the owners would please spend the time to fix the lockers. Too many men’s lockers with digital locks are broken and haven’t been fixed in weeks. It can be frustrating running around to find one.
Water pressure on the upstairs men’s changing room at Oxford Circus is always hit or miss. Seems like only one person can have a hot shower at once, and more than once I’ve been left standing in a towel waiting. I would absolutely get a membership if the facilities were upgraded.
All in all, I would (and have) recommend Psycle and plan to keep going. Hoping a bit more attention to the facilities can be given, then I feel a membership is guaranteed value.
