5 /5 Lucy I: Having watched a close friend really enjoy this gym and work hard to get amazing fitness results I was persuaded to give it a go.
The 6 week challenge gave me the opportunity to try it all out and to see whether I could do it, I would enjoy it and whether I could make it fit in with my life and schedule.
The answer to all of those was yes and I’ve been a member and loving it since June 25 - it’s such a supportive and fun environment.
All the coaches are brilliant - so helpful with alternatives when I’m struggling with a movement or an injury - and so patient explaining how each movement works and how to get the best out of them.
The other members are great too. Very welcoming and friendly and always ready to spot or give advice if I want it.
The bookings are really easy on a custom made app. There is loads of flexibility on the bookable sessions so I can most often fit all my sessions in each week which makes it very cost effective. When I’ve had to be out for a couple of weeks hols or other commitments, etc. it’s also been easy to make provision for that.
The workout app is also really great helping me to track the exercises I’ve done, the number of reps and the weight where relevant. That way I don’t have to try and remember from session to session, it’s all just really easy for me to look up.
I’m making excellent progress with my strength and fitness and I’m loving it. The guided sessions make it so easy for me to attend. I don’t have to try to remember what I’m supposed to be doing or wait around for equipment to be free.
All in all it’s a really great experience. Much less terrifying than I thought it would be and, 7 months in, it’s become a habit and not just a new shiny thing that got put down almost as quickly as it got picked up.
