SPACE Yoga Studio - Brighton and Hove

Rating: 4.9 /5
LJ M I am going through a difficult time and discovered Space Yoga Studio in my neighborhood and decided to purchase the Intro Offer for new students. It’s been a lifeline to the local community and to taking charge of my health and wellness. I gravitated towards the less challenging options which were categorized as Restorative and Beginner classes, including Yin Yoga, Flow & Restore, and Gentle Yoga. I’ve tried a variety of different instructors, and have been able to successfully reach that invaluable zen headspace at the end of each class that has felt like a total body reset. The church setting and the cafe downstairs make this a uniquely special place. I highly recommend Space Yoga Studio!

ARC Collective - Coffee, Community, Wellness -

Rating: 5 /5
Penelope Brown Qigong Class with Emma Tian Williamson Thursdays 10am at the ARC I have had the pleasure of attending the Qigong class for several months. It is a revelation. Having practiced yoga for several decades this is completely different - a Chinese wellness practice to nourish the mind and body through slow- flowing movements and synchronised breathing. It encourages circulation, mobility and soothes the nervous system. It is deeply calming and Emma is an excellent teacher. The ARC studio is a special space - the best studio I have encountered. You feel you are not doing much yet your body knows the difference and is thankful at the end of a session.

Yoga with Bev - S Farm Rd

Rating: 5 /5
Claire Irving After never doing yoga before, I joined Bev’s yoga class in Jan 24 and for the first time ever I’ve consistently stuck with something. The class is inclusive of age, size or how you identify and is warm and welcoming. Bev makes sure that whatever your level you are getting safe benefit from the poses. Your first couple of lessons can feel a bit wobbly as you get used to the names of the poses, but Bev makes sure you’re on it with kindness. Bev is so passionate about yoga and includes you in this feeling, so as well as clear physical benefits (my back has never been better and I’m stronger) it has also been fab for my head - the time spent focussing on these lessons is restorative. If you’re in anyway interested in trying yoga but feel shy, awkward, unable or embarrassed about what you perceive your body can do, or how you might be perceived, please give the class a go.

Reformer Pilates Worthing - Sompting

Rating: 5 /5
Nicky I was a complete beginner to the reformer practice and Nerissa taught me from scratch how to do the exercises in such a patient and precise way that I got a grasp of it fairly quickly. She made so much sense with her vast knowledge of the body and the practice.. all Delivered with a holistic approach designed for me and my lifestyle. She took her time giving me a thorough assessment and designed the exercise programme around my needs. I loved the one to one sessions and the passion that she has for her practice.
