Chris Mooney If youre really fussy (the type of person who spends most of their holidays taking photos of their hotel room, to post on trip advisor once they get back) youre probably not going to like it. Its not exactly a luxurious/high end spa, and it could do with a bit of a renovation. But if youre more down-to-earth, and just want a decent city centre pool/hot tub/sauna/steam room, youll really like it. Its convenient, and has everything you need.

NexusTwo An amazing gym with some really great PT’s! My PT (Natalia) is the main reason why I had moved over from my previous club to Bank. Natalia invests in a lot of time with her clients by really challenging them to achieve their best, really motivational and encouraging. She teaches you exercises and the reasoning as to why they will help with strength and conditioning, illustrating where each muscle is being targeted per exercise which shows a vast amount of knowledge Natalia has. Whilst other members of staff at the club are friendly, Natalia goes that extra mile to make you feel incredibly welcome and really goes out of her way to build a rapport with myself as one of her PT clients. Thank you Natalia!

The equipment selection is top-notch, and the massive variety of creative classes and resident DJs ensure youll never get bored. Fitness First Fenchurch St -

Rating: 4.5 /5
Ajith Asokan Fitness First Fenchurch Street has always been a staple for the City crowd, but the recent refurbishment has elevated it from a standard "basement grind" to a high-spec training environment. While the aesthetic upgrade is undeniable, the sheer technicality of the new kit introduces a significant learning curve for the average member. The Transformation The gym floor has transitioned to a much more open, industrial-chic layout. Gone are the cluttered rows of legacy machines, replaced by a curated selection of Technogym and Eleiko equipment. The lighting is sharper, the air conditioning actually works, and the functional training zone has been significantly expanded to accommodate the growing demand for HIIT and hybrid training. The Tech Gap: Innovation vs. Intuition The centerpiece of the refurb is the integration of ultra-modern biometric equipment. However, for those of us used to "pin and pull" machines, the new hardware feels like stepping onto the set of a sci-fi film. Biocircuit Integration: Many of the new resistance machines are now fully digital. If you dont have your app synced or your RFID band ready, the machine essentially stares back at you blankly. It’s no longer about "getting a pump"; it’s about data management. The "Mystery" Mechanics: Several pieces of equipment—particularly in the functional area—defy traditional logic. There is a cable-and-rail system near the back that looks like a prototype for a vertical slingshot. Without a PT standing nearby to explain the planes of motion, it remains a very expensive piece of modern art.

Gareth Williams I think this gym is great. Well equipped and nicely laid out.The reception and gym staff are polite and helpful. Of late though a number of the spin classes, especially on a Monday evening have been cancelled. I appreciate sometimes staff get sick etc but this is now too frequent with no alternative instructor provided. It is the one downside at otherwise a really nice place to train.
