Sara Toh Love this small yoga studio that I discovered! My main goal is to get some good stretches from the strength trainings I do. The instructors for both the Yin Yoga classes that I attended were great. It was so soothing that I almost fell asleep!

The Refinery E9 - 14 Collent St

Rating: 4.7 /5
Helen Frost The Refinery is a really comfortable and relaxing space to be in, and I love Jennys yin yoga classes! I always leave feeling restored and connected to my body. Its become such an important part of my week! My only criticisms are that sometimes the room is cold, and you can occasionally hear loud music from the other studios, but I know thats a tricky one to avoid.

Carmel Mundt-Leach Jen certainly covers a lifetime and works on prolonging it! Her sessions have focussed on what I need as an older person and I can see and feel a big difference in my dexterity and balance.

ShiroKuma Health & Fitness -

Rating: 4.9 /5
Raúl Fernández Ojeda I’ve been a member of Shirokuma Camberwell for over three years, and the coaching from James and Katherine has been pivotal in my fitness journey. Their expertise and passion for CrossFit shine through in every class, creating an environment that is both challenging and supportive. They have a unique ability to break down complex gymnastics movements into manageable components, allowing me to improve my skills progressively. Their tailored approach ensures that everyone, regardless of their starting point, receives the guidance they need to succeed. Beyond skill development, James and Katherine have helped me build confidence in my abilities. Their encouragement and constructive feedback motivate me to push past my limits and achieve goals I once thought were unattainable. The sense of community they foster makes every workout enjoyable, and I truly look forward to each class. If you want to enhance your CrossFit experience and gain confidence, I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Bronx Boxing Club -

Ben Jones This place is great! Perfect to get your fitness fix! I visited a lunchtime session there were 4 in our class so it felt like small group training. Im guessing evenings are busier but the gym area has plenty of bags and floor space to fit many more in and the high ceilings means it doesnt feel like a dingy basement. Nice changing area and great toilets (that work! A rarity in some London locations) The workout Skipping stretching to start with then on the bags to warm up the shoulders. Then 4 rounds of pads with increasing complexity we were a pretty experienced group so were able to do try some tricky combos. We finished with some abs and a good stretch off. Great encouragement from the coach and not too shouty. (Which I cant stand personally) If you are in the area Id throughly recommend. I paid £10 for an hours session which is an absolute steal. Most London boxing studios charge £20 or £25! They also run sparring and advanced sessions but I didnt try those so there is something for everyone.

PFT Academy -

Rating: 5 /5
Clare My son loves his sessions at PFT Academy! The coaches noticed he was quiet to begin with and supported him to join in with the session and enjoy being with the group. He enjoys the sessions as they are structured enough to know what he needs to do but relaxed enough that he can experiment with skills he has learnt and extend them, learning new things.
