1 /5 Liam: Uckfield gym Avoid... equipment is tired and out dated. Better and cheaper gyms within 20 mins drive. One exercise bike, other out of order for over 6 months. Choose timings carefully as its more of a youth club in the afternoon and having to wait for machines as groups of teenagers lounging on most of the equipment. Cancelled direct debt after a year of not attending then get threatening email and been advised I need to pay 2 more months or debt recovery will be called in, so they kind of have me over a barrel shocking customer service and damaging to the anytime fitness brand. It turns out when I signed up and was told I had a discounted rate as I showed my blue light card this was never actioned so wasnt receiving discount even though I was assured when I joined i was on a discounted rate. The cost doesnt bother me but bullying tactics and threats are so unnecessary.

1 /5 Jonathan Watt: Way to many kids in this gym without any gym etiquette, muddy trainers and poor manners. Training stations and kit take forever to be repaired or replaced when broken, the same can be said about the showers/toilets. I moved onwards...

5 /5 Ellyn Wright: Absolutely Love this gym ! After trying out a few, this is the one gym where i feel confident to be in. Everything is very clean and looked after. The team are super friendly and have no problem with helping out. Me and my friend have started doing the buddy workshop and the staff involved have made it very comfortable and always go above and beyond to make sure that we are getting what we want out of it.

1 /5 Daniel Couchman: I was here for about 3 years only because it’s a 24 hour gym and I wake up early - Hannah is the moodiest fakest gym manager I have ever come across, max is one of the nicest blokes to speak to - gym equipment is ok but everyone in there is so miserable! I got my membership suspended due to an altercation with a another member - but I had already given my cancel request due to having a home gym… ✌️

1 /5 Gabriel Poyser: On paper what would seem to be a pretty simple matter of quitting a local gym has become ridiculous. On my final month of my contract I advised that id like to quit and requested a payment link to make this final payment to avoid a late fee. They responded to my email explaining that I shouldnt cancel my direct debit on my side but it would all be done. As i received no payment link I followed up the following day and was told I would be charged a late fee. Their payment system is set up in a way that if the direct debit fails you cannot pay on the same day via payment, only after when they add a late fee When querying the late fee they initially inferred there was nothing they could do to remove it... this is a lie. We all know Anytime Fitness is a huge nationwide brand, however she tried to suggest this branch are operated like a "small family company". I was willing to pay my final bill but not with a late fee which I had tried to avoid and is unfair, it can be removed, they are choosing not to. As if this poor response wasnt enough I was then threatened with the whopping £44 including a late fee to be passed onto a debt recovery agency. Any reasonable company would waive it (from previous experiences) especially if the customer has offered to pay on the day money is due. Im not sure if its stubbornness or stupidity from the manager emailing myself but either way ill never use this company in any area again
