5 /5 NiKoJlaY: Amazing gym in East Ham, located near to the Underground station. Its perfect for people who wanna do some training on amateur level or just to keep their body in a healthy condition. For a professional sportsman, it probably isnt the best option. Its really popular, I never saw less than 50 people inside, and thats not even on peak hours. The only thing that sometimes annoys me is the online gym app. When I try to scan the qr code at the gym door, it works 1 time, and the other 3-4 no, and you need to enter your personal code manually.

5 /5 Sarath Chandran: I’ve been training at The Gym Group High Street East ham for a while now, and the experience has been top-notch. The gym is always clean, well-equipped, and has a positive, motivating atmosphere. A special shoutout to Jo Cook, one of the best trainers I’ve worked with. Jo is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about helping clients reach their goals. Her sessions are challenging but fun, and she tailors each workout to suit individual needs and fitness levels. I’ve seen real progress since training with her and feel more confident and stronger than ever. Highly recommend both the gym and Jo to anyone looking to get serious about their fitness journey!

4 /5 Laura Porter: Ive been a member since 2018 and visit around 3 times a week. This is the best Gym Group gym Ive found so far for powerlifting & free weights, with multiple squat racks and barbells available. I can usually find a rack or bench free, and there are a few other powerlifters around to chat to. The gym loses a star though because so many of the other attendees DO NOT STRIP THEIR BARS. So many guys who train and walk away from their barbells, leaving weights on. Who is going to clear the bars? The gym fairy? Their MUM? Its very annoying to be a 52" woman who has to remove multiple 25kg plates from a bar before being able to use it. Strip your bars, little boys! Otherwise this is a great gym, but the Gym Group needs to start banning members who squat 140kg then are apparently too weak (or just damn lazy) to strip a bar.

1 /5 Sazid Reza: Scammy gym and manager. The manager only works 2 hours a day and is never available. Barely any staff in the gym and half the equipment is always broken. They will cancel your membership every couple of months and when you ask staff, they ask you to rejoin using a new email. It’s mainly done to get you to pay the membership fee again and again. Can’t believe that such a big company is out here to scam people like this.
