5 /5 Richard Smith: I’ve been searching for a private gym and a personal trainer near me ever since I moved to Milton Keynes (MK6) two years ago. I tried a couple of places that were okay, and I worked with one or two trainers who were good, but either the location was wrong, or the training wasn’t affordable, or some combination of the two.
Then I found Evan at PT Workspace in Campbell Wharf. For me, this is the perfect combination: high-intensity strength training in the comfort of a private studio within easy reach of home. Evan’s workouts have been incredibly effective and, most importantly, great fun.
Getting visible results when you’re older (I’m 61) is that little bit harder, but over the space of eight weeks, I already look different and I feel fantastic. Fat is turning into muscle, and the regular routine has been good for my mental health. I’ve felt safe even while being pushed to work hard. When doing weight training on my own, I’ve often injured myself or got bored and given up. Not this time.
The gym is dedicated to private training, so it’s often just me and the trainer in there. Unlike many gyms, it’s full of natural light. Large fans keep it feeling cool, even in the recent hot weather. The equipment is all high quality, and the team keeps the place clean and fresh the whole time.
For me, the cost of personal training has been well worth it, as an investment in my present and future health and well-being. I highly recommend PT Workspace.
