5 /5 That Stagey Blog: I first tried Milo and the Bull in Clapham, as I had previously got in to group strength and condioning classes at another gym.
The classes are structured and led by experienced coaches who are friendly and fun as well as knowledgeable. It really helps to have someone instruct you in a clear way whilst making you feel supported. They motivate you to improve and encourage you all the way. You feel very safe and looked after and they make an effort to learn and get to know you.
I loved the vibe, but found that Clapham was too far out for me. I was delighted when I heard they were opening a brand new studio in Peckham within a minutes walk from Peckham Rye station. It’s so easy for me to get there by overground.
The Peckham studio is incredible, spacious, with character and all brand new equipment. The large windows let tonnes of light in, and the surrounding trees that wrap around the building make it feel secluded and private.
It’s also above and below some fantastic restaurants and bars.
Part of what I love about group classes is the friends I have made from them, and the community they provide. I can’t wait to begin to make friends at Milo and the Bull Peckham and grab a drink and something to eat after the classes there.
It is also far more affordable than other similar gyms that I have tried, with incredible membership rates.
