1 /5 Harriet Meyer: UPDATE - I have just read the response, which is unfortunately full of lies. I wasnt offered ANY free treatments - let alone two! And I spoke to one of the other girls who was there (as I know many people in the area well) and she said she was also upset by the managers attitude, and other friends of mine have encountered the same. What a shame that there is simply no apology, basic customer service, or even truth about the outcome.
I had a terrible experience at this salon with the manager Elena, who has a poor way of dealing with customers. I had booked online, and I understood that I was unable to cancel this, if not done so 24 hours beforehand. I had an emergency hospital appointment, however, and was forced to cancel the same day. I asked to reschedule, and understood this was not necessarily going to be possible. However, on explaining the hospital situation, Elena was rude, and proceeded to spend some time lecturing me so I understood the conditions of my booking (I did - but was told about 20 times, and felt like I was being put in the corner at school!) My appointment was rescheduled, but I was made fully aware of the huge hassle involved in doing this for the manager. There was zero customer service, politeness, understanding or kindness shown. It was very disappointing, as a regular customer who had never cancelled before. I will not be visiting this salon again, and would not recommend to anyone. There also seems to be a high turnover of staff, and the atmosphere isnt what Id expect from a calm salon - but if staff are treated the way I was by the manager, Im not surprised.
