I paid £138 for a nail service and the experience was completely unacceptable.
Within the first week, one of my nails broke, and the overall result was clearly uneven and asymmetrical. I returned to the salon, explained the issue calmly and clearly, and asked for the nails to be redone.
The response I received was shocking. I was told that they could redo them only if I wanted to pay again, and that they could not do anything because “to them the nails looked fine”. There was no attempt to listen, no responsibility taken, and absolutely no concern for whether the customer is satisfied.
This is not a matter of personal taste — a nail breaking in the first week and visible lack of symmetry is a quality issue. Dismissing a customer’s concerns with “they look fine to us” is unprofessional and disrespectful, especially at this price point.
For a place that charges luxury-level prices, the service and attitude were the exact opposite. It genuinely felt like the only thing that mattered was avoiding responsibility, not providing proper service.
