1 /5 Syeda Naqvi: This has been a really sad review for me to write as I have been a loyal customer to Tala for years. When I first started coming to Tala, I paid in full for my services, but later was offered 6-month packages where I’ve paid a lump-sum at a discounted rate upfront. I have spent upwards of £1000~ at this salon and I really enjoyed Tala’s company and people skills, except when I was displeased with something. As of recent, Tala blames me for not contacting her earlier about a burn on my arm from a wax. I sent her pictures of this burn (which I had a week ago) and because it is on the underside of my arm, it rubs against my body and causes a lot of pain and discomfort. Tala evaded all accountability about this issue, even though I have been a very loyal customer and expressed to her that I was unhappy. As a business owner and the executive servicer, Tala could use some training in how to take feedback and how to be more accountable. It’s upsetting that I paid for a service (which was not cheap) and came out with this nasty mark on my arm and I’m being told it’s on me. If you want to be able to be honest, upfront, and speak freely with your servicer, this is not a place I would recommend. After being a customer for a very long time, I’m sad to say I don’t recommend.
P.s. she charged me double for the same service I had done at the end of 2024 and claimed it was due to an increase of product prices. I’m talking £70 to £135 jump…
