1 /5 Surbhi Chawla: Very disappointing. I went in for a gel manicure with my friend who got a normal polish manicure. Her nails looked fantastic at the end! Unfortunately the results were not so good for me with the technician I had. After I left the appointment I noticed nail polish all over my skin around my nails and on my fingers. My cuticles have been pushed back almost too far - my husband thought they were bleeding. My polish is not smooth at all and there are multiple little dents in them. It’s not noticeable from a far but I can see it and so could my friend and partner when they looked closely. When I pointed out that the filing of my right thumb was uneven I was told that’s just the way my nail is. My friend I was with ok the other hand had a great experience and her nails looked great. It’s unfortunate that the standard between two technicians is so drastically different. A lot of the little marks and discoloured/matte looking parts on my nails in the photos below are dents in the nails and a strange sticky substance around my cuticles that won’t come off easily with soap and water

2 /5 Rachel Wilson: Sadly my nails haven’t even lasted a week having had a full manicure. They are peeling, chipping and coming off completely. The gel polish felt thin when I was having it done and it hasn’t lasted leaving just the base coat visible.
