1 /5 sasha: I was really hopeful when I visited Townhouse Blackheath, especially with their 25% opening offer. I assumed the discount was simply a launch promotion, not a sign that the team might still be in training , but based on my experience, the quality unfortunately felt very inexperienced.
The staff were lovely and friendly but the manicure and pedicure were not good.
The pictures shown were after just one week! They looked like this within a few days of the manicure.
Within a week, my nails looked extremely poor. As shown in the photo, several nails already had visible lifting near the cuticles, uneven edges, and patches where the polish seemed to separate. My thumbnail even broke despite me being careful, which has never happened to me with a fresh manicure. The finish just wasn’t smooth or durable, and the overall look deteriorated far too quickly for a manicure that should have lasted.
I tried to redeem their 7day Flawless Finish Guarantee” through their WhatsApp customer service, but no one got back to me with what to do.
It ended up being a total waste of money, and I wouldn’t return based on this experience. I hope they improve, as the idea of the salon is lovely, but the service and quality really let me down
