1 /5 Szilvia Fekete: Do not book online, you might lose your money
Im sad to post about this experience, as this gym looks like a really cute local place, but I want to save others the trouble and the money.
My friend and I booked a yoga class online, paid in full, and got reminders duly that the class is on. But when we showed up, they said the class doesnt exist, and that the only person who could refund our money is the owner who is absent. We emailed the owner, multiple times, went in to the gym in person 3 times to ask for her, asked the (very nice) staff on the premises to leave her messages. Nothing, no reply from the owner, no refund - our money disappeared. At the end I had to call my bank to lodge a dispute - all going well I will be refunded in 50(!) days. So dont book online classes and be careful to not pay anything ahead if you want to train here - then you should be fine :)
UPDATE: As it seems the "reply to the reply" function is not available here, using this space to say thank you to the owner for their kind reply. I would like to note though that 1) 5 days ago when the refund was "processed" was actually when I called the bank and filed a dispute. So the bank forced a (provisional) refund, the gym didnt refund by themselves. And 2) I have left my phone number, email and visited in person asking for a reply and got nothing for two weeks - however a google review got a response in one day. Both of these things are interesting to note in terms of approach to customer service and both of these things reinforce my original review score. Thank you
