1 /5 karanbir verma: Dear PureGym Hayes,
What’s the point of being the largest gym chain in the UK if you haven’t upgraded any major exercise machines since opening in 2019?
Year after year, the same core equipment is either outdated or constantly out of order — leg press, leg extension, and other key machines seem to spend more time broken than usable. For a gym that markets itself on accessibility and quality, this level of neglect is honestly embarrassing.
Members are paying full price for half-functional facilities. If maintaining and upgrading essential equipment isn’t a priority, then maybe the branding needs to be more honest — because right now, the reality inside this gym doesn’t match the reputation PureGym claims to have.
To top it all off, the entrance regularly smells like a dead animal — not exactly the welcome you’d expect walking into a “premium” fitness chain.
Do better.
