Grace Harding I have worked with Lennie Charles (PT at the Lewisham gym) for nearly two years and it is the best time and money I have ever spent. Lennie has taught me so much and Ive seen huge improvements in my strength, ability and most importantly confidence at the gym. She was incredibly patient (my coordination needed a lot of work) and was always my cheerleader pushing me on to do that extra rep. Her enthusiasm and energy are boundless and I hope I get to work with her again in the future for another challenge!

Samantha Russell My children are both a part of this program. My daughter has been attending for the last 7 seasons and my son (who is Downs syndrome) has attended for the last 4 seasons. The confidence my children have gained over this period, has been huge. The staff and athletes are all so welcoming. I hope my children chose to stay for many seasons to come!

Jane Luby This gym is excellent value for money in my view and is really inclusive. I go to the classes solely so cannot comment on the gym equipment. Yes it could do with better maintenance and cleaning but some of the fitness instructors are excellent, and it is a really friendly place where you feel welcome whatever your fitness level. Maybe give it a try - you do not need to commit to a years contract like some of the more expensive gyms.

Mahbub Ali I haven’t been to this gym for over a year, and on returning I noticed they have changed quite a lot. The space does feel more open now, which is a positive. Removing the stickers from the windows was a great idea as it brings in natural light and offers a much better view. However, removing the treadmills with built-in screens was a huge disappointment. Those treadmills were the best feature, and replacing them with basic models feels cheap, not what I would expect from a £30 a month membership. This is why I have removed a star from my rating. The new weights are also a let-down as they have poor grip and feel lighter than they should. Overall, the gym was perfectly fine before the so-called upgrade. Now it feels like they are cutting costs by bringing in cheaper equipment, which unfortunately gives off “The Gym Group” vibes. I am now considering switching back to The Gym Group instead.
