2 /5 james mckay: The best part is that it has more to offer than just a gym, the staff are friendly but the major thing wrong, is the price. If you only want a day pass for the gym it’s £15 which is more than half of what my membership costs where I live. Not only that, the equipment is outdated, they have one lat pulldown machine and the handles are falling apart. Anytime fitness offers better equipment for a much cheaper price. If it was manned when I needed it, I would have gone there. If you could pay a normal price just to use the gym then it would be okay, but until they sort out the equipment, it’s not worth near £15 for a day. Never will be.
In reply to your message, I believe most gyms are members only but they don’t have a day rate of £15. I go with a friend to his gym occasionally which is a better gym than mine and isenhurst, it costs £10 for a day. I understand that you have all the extras but what about people who don’t use them or want them? Why would it be such an issue to have a gym only membership or a gym only pass. The equipment has gotten better but the amount still stays the same and that’s not going to change because of the size of the place. I’m not saying I dislike the place or anything that you have, it’s just not worth the price unless you want all the extras and use it atleast 4-5 times a week. I’ve now cancelled my membership because I don’t know if I’ll be able to go 4 times a month minimum. Even if I can I can’t justify spending £57 a month to use it barely.
Overall, not worth the money unless you use it all.
