Andrey Simonov This club is an open and accepting place. Stage 1 group classes are meant for people with no tennis experience at all. If you keep it up, you will see yourself progress, which is a great feeling. The coaches are really nice, especially Nick Gray. Lara Davis, who manages the group classes and the bookings is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. A great club overall. Sometimes you get to play on grass which feels fantastic.

One Pilates Studios -

Ben Mills I am a relative newcomer to the delights, and rigours of Pilates, and to date, one of the few male participants (that I have seen in the classes I attend, anyway). One Pilates Weybridge have never been anything other than welcoming, and supportive. Their teachers and classes are exceptional, held in a modern and well-equipped studio. I am hooked, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending One Pilates.

Rosh R Very well priced gym that is mostly quiet. On the smaller side but has all the equipment you would need. Easy parking. Opening hours are slightly limited but worth the value. Very friendly staff.

Amruta Thakur We have been members at this gym for almost 10 years now and we have been very happy. Both my girls started their swimming lessons here and continued into squad level. My younger one is 14 and still continues swimming with Sharon. She is an excellent teacher, very kind and compassionate, yet very discerning about what is required and when to be strict. The other teachers who they trained with over the years: Linda, Gus, Lucy, Ken were excellent too. I am a regular gym user and the facilities are good, the cafe and play pod are great for play/work/relaxing. The classes and instructors are amazing. Debs, Ruth, Hala, Natalie, Adelaide are all great. The gym is very popular and so you have to be super alert booking classes in advance.

Lewis Sydenham My fiancé and I have recently joined the classes at UBX via the ClassPass platform and we’re glad we stumbled across this gem. Jamie J and the other coaches have been engaging, supportive and beyond all incredibly welcoming to us. Having tried multiple gyms and fitness trends in the area, it’s safe to say that ubx because of it’s team and format is the best I’ve come across locally. Nick the GM has been incredible and would recommend him and his team to anyone looking to embark on or continue on any fitness journey.

Millie Melvin I’m a keen runner and hiker who started to get knee pain which was really uncomfortable on my hikes downhill. I was diagnosed with patella tendonitis from a physio. Frustratingly the advice I had received was to avoid exercise or complete rest, but my knee wasn’t improving. This is when I realised I needed some strength and conditioning training and reached out to perma performance. I was unsure whether I would feel prepared for an upcoming hike up Acatenango and my 4 day hike to machu picchu. However both Jamie and Lewis put together a plan in conjunction with a physio they recommended, which helped enormously - not only in terms of comfort, but in terms of my general fitness and building confidence back in my ability to perform activities I enjoy. Both Jamie and Lewis really helped explain the process and gave me much more knowledge regarding my knee issue than I had before. The clear rationale and explanation of the process was something I hadn’t experienced with others I had seen previously, which made me feel like I wish I had started sooner! I went on to complete both hikes and feel great doing them!
