Barry Francis Andreas has trained and looked after me for many years. He tailors my training to my particular needs . This has meant that, in addition to improving my fitness, my resilience and my posture, he has helped me manage and overcome various injuries. I recommend him if you are looking for a training programme which focuses on your own individual needs, strengths and aspirations.

Paul R I recently became a member of David Lloyd, and I’m so glad to be getting back into my fitness journey. I was a little nervous as Id fallen out of my routine and this club is a new one for me, but Rosa made me feel so comfortable and like I’d never been away. I can’t wait to go to my first class and get my first PT session booked in. The facilities are amazing here, and I encourage anyone who is considering joining a gym to pick this one! :)

Aston Seymour I’ve been a member of Phoenix Brighton for the past two months, and it’s genuinely a fantastic place to train. I’ve had previous memberships elsewhere at local council gyms, and while those gyms were fine, they were small, counter-run spaces with limited equipment and availability. Phoenix Brighton, on the other hand, is spacious with a huge variety of machines. Even during peak hours, there are always plenty of stations free, something my previous gym could never offer. The situation was even worse for juniors there, where strict time slots had to be booked a week in advance. Phoenix has no such restrictions, making it a far better environment for younger members. They can train alongside more experienced gym-goers, which really helps them learn and grow in confidence. The equipment at Phoenix Brighton is exceptional. It’s Panatta, the Lamborghini of gym equipment—solid, smooth, and built to perform. My workouts have completely transformed since joining, and I genuinely look forward to going every day. The atmosphere is great too. The music selection is varied and energising, not just the same repetitive radio playlists you hear elsewhere. The counter offers a good range of whey protein powders and other high-protein snacks, plus there’s a cold water bubbler—small touches that make a big difference. Overall, Phoenix Brighton is a top-tier, professional gym. I highly recommend it. Don’t waste your time elsewhere.

Sue Proud This is a great local pilates class with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. My first time to try pilates and I have discovered muscles I never knew existed! Sabine is friendly and encouraging and I cant recommend her enough. If youve never done pilates before then give it a go. It will make you feel re-energised for the rest of the day.

Anastazija Collings Visited the spa with my friend today and had the most amazing experience! Asta, the manager of the spa, was absolutely incredible and treated us like royalty: she went extra mile to ensure we had the best time ever. We had 2h of private spa use, jaccuzi, sauna and drinks: all just for me and my friend! Afterwards, I had full body massage and head massage by Amber : oh my God, another level of relaxation this was! I literally left this planet for a bit; it was that good! We enjoyed ourselves that much, that wanted to extend our stay for another hour or so, but unfortunately it was booked up by other clients, so we had to go home! As a full time working mum of the toddler, i really needed some time for myself : to chill, reset and relax and The Beauty Island Sanctuary has delivered it and went above the expectations! Thank you guys! I will be coming back very soon xxx
