1 /5 Sania Hoque: What I thought was going to my go-to salon two weeks ago since moving into East London has now turned into my NEVER again. After my first experience I was adamant to do my bi-weekly manicures/full set at Anthony Lewis until I was sat with TONY. From the get go he was not interested in removing my SNS or understanding these were my natural nails. He persisted that I cut them short and opt for one colour gel when I had already asked for removal, and a new set of and with French tip. Clearly he was disinterested in the lengthy process it could take and made sure that was known. Sadly, I agreed with going short on my natural and opting for gel one colour no French tip as I hate fuss and realised he wasn’t dedicated. When I was picking my choice of colour I requested a nude/milky white. He started to mock this and said pick a colour we have white, then brought out a white powder to show me what white was. I then opted for a nude/pink and requested to try this before applying. He was annoyed that I had asked that. So I asked him what he thinks would be best or recommend me- He sarcastically recommended black?! I said ok well that’s the complete opposite of what I came in for. He said you asked me what I think so I say black. I refused to be mugged off and said finish my take off. He didn’t even ask me to wash my hands after the take off (which was incompetent) I spoke to the manager who said he will sit me with the person who did me last week but I was so infuriated with the service I just wanted to leave! So disappointed in the customer service, handling of this especially when I hadn’t even made it known how furious I was. Will not be attending this salon and fire Tony he clearly doesn’t want to work there with his cheap dog tag on his neck.
