Doctor Sharkey Ive been going to PT Studio One for a while now, training with Mervin. Its a very well equipped gym with free car parking, great friendly atmosphere and a free car park. Mervin is a first class trainer, and my progress since training with him has been incredible - much better than Id achieved on my own. Highly recommended.

Jayga Leslie I’ve been a member here for years and it’s honestly a great gym. The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, and there’s a wide variety for both weights and cardio. The staff are friendly, helpful, and create a welcoming environment. I like that the gym has a good balance — it never feels overcrowded, but still has a motivating atmosphere. Being open 24/7 makes it really convenient, and I’ve always felt comfortable training here. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive place to work out.

Meera Ved Ive been going to pregnancy yoga by Sim for 5 months and its completely surpassed my expectations. Its consistently been one of my weekly highlights, just what I needed in terms of relaxation balanced with learning about how movement and breathing can help throughout pregnancy. Sim is very skilled at facilitating the sessions and advising on safe practice during pregnancy. Something that stood out to me was that no week is the same and so tailored to pregnancy (physically and emotionally). Im now approaching the end of my pregnancy with so many hints and tips that Ive picked up from Sim. Have already recommended the class to others and would not hesitate to recommend again. The Yoga on the Green facilities are also great, feels like a calm sanctuary as soon as you walk in and staff are also super friendly.

Subrina Hussain I have received absolutely outstanding service since joining Loughton Leisure Centre. From the very beginning, Sharon, one of the managers, has been nothing short of amazing. I initially enquired online and was quickly contacted by Sharon, who followed up with a phone call and arranged a tour. I suffer with excruciating pain and often find gyms intimidating, but Sharon’s kind and genuine nature instantly put me at ease. At one point, I became tearful during our conversation, and she didn’t just brush it off — she listened, handed me a tissue, and gave me a reassuring hug. There was never any pressure to join; instead, I felt supported and understood. That made all the difference. Since signing up, I’ve been attending regularly, and the atmosphere continues to be welcoming. Becca, another member of staff, always greets members with a big smile and even remembers names — such a simple but meaningful touch that makes you feel valued. Both Sharon and Becca are a true credit to the Centre. I’ve already recommended Loughton Leisure Centre to friends and family so they too can experience the top-class service and supportive environment. Since joining, my pain has become more manageable, and I genuinely look forward to coming in. Thank you to Sharon, Becca, and the whole team for all you do for the community — it really makes a difference!
