1 /5 David Crowley: This store has issues. I had three visits in a month and will never go back again, my friends have cancelled their apps too. (1) I booked shellac for myself, the store rang 2hrs before the app to come in 20 mins earlier than booked. I agreed when I arrived instore I had to wait 30 mins before I was called for the appointment. Why ring to come in earlier? (2) I booked my kids in for wash/cut/blowdry when I arrived the stylist wanted to do a dry cut instead she said it would be better, my kid has very long hair(to be fair it did look well) I agreed as she was cutting it became quiet clear she rushing out the door to go home and the dry cut was quicker than a w,c,b. (3) I had booked velvet salon castletroy for 2 princess manicures 4 weeks before the appointment time. 3 days before the appointment was due the salon moved my appointments to the hair shop so the kids could sit together at the same time as she said they were not together in the original store, that was fine, no issues. The receptionist said she would take care of the Christmas nail art and they would have plenty of time for both to be done side by side as it was one of the kids first time. When we arrived for the app they said the receptionist and one nail tech went home sick which I totally understand as she was ill the three days beforehand when she did mine and that they would go one after the other with no nail art and only 15 mins per child. We explained they were booked for nail art as the receptionist three days beforehand said she would take care of the nail art for changing the app venue and time. All that was needed was a phone call to explain the app had changed and no art would be given, as one child travelled from cork to get this done as a Christmas gift. This was not handled correctly in store they shouldve made a call to explain or move the app to the back original store or a different time slot. They kids were very upset and the staff in this store were quiet rude, all rushing to get out the door, none wanting to deal with the issue . Except for Kristina the nail tech she was amazing. This store moved the venue and the time slots, and promised to take care of nail art and never informed us the app had been reduced to a basic varnish with one nail getting stripes until arrival. Again a phone call could have taken care of all of this. Very unprofessional.
