5 /5 Kris Mentor: Injured my back while deadlifting and needed a new activity to keep active. My chiropractor mentioned pilates as an option worth trying. After a bit of googling I found strong! Liked the idea of having a cardio machine used in the circuits as my weight post my injury jumped up. My local studio was about a month away from opening so I thought Id try the Wandsworth studio first to see what it was like.
Its been a game changer for me.
The team are a bunch of stars. Sarah from front of house is a gem. Super helpful and always smiling even at 6am on a super cold morning. My regular instructors are Niamh, Bethan and Holly. All quite different but all great in keeping the energy high, helping you push yourself and also brilliant on helping me correct my form on a lot of these alien feeling movements (Bethan has the best playlists though). On the admin side of things, Stral has been super accommodating, really helpful with information and making the jump into reformer pilates less scary.
Injuries suck! But if anything good has come out of it, its finding this studio.
