J Kirk Ive really come to appreciate Yonder over the past few years of climbing there, on how consistently good it is. The location is great, being only a 3 minute walk from blackhorse road station. The setting is really diverse, every new set has such a wide variety of climbs that often make you use muscles that you didnt know existed (for better or worse). Especially with easier climbs, where they make it so that theyre not just a progressively more difficult ladder The space is really nice, being 3(.5?) levels it is just a very nice place to hang out, with each area being separate from each other but still feeling like theyre together. With the cafe getting an upgrade as well Im very excited to see how it turns out. My only peeves are that at times it can be very busy and it can be very hot, though busyness can be worked around by going at different times. The heat is also being dealt with by funneling the air from the ACs into the main area from the corridors, and sticking big wall fans up (more of them please) which has been a well needed improvement compared to previous years. The cost also being well below other gyms in London is a huge plus for me too, it feels like you get so much bang for your buck here compared to the bigger climbing groups.

Trevor Saint I’ve trained with Seb for many years, and his knowledge and experience are second to none. He consistently pushes you beyond your limits, helping you become fitter, stronger, and a more well-rounded fighter. His coaching style is truly unmatched – supportive, challenging, and always motivating. On top of that, he’s friendly, approachable, and genuinely a great person to be around.

Alison Luker I signed up for a trial at Base 13, a little reluctantly, after reading a lot about the importance of resistance training for women of my age. Im in my fifties and Ive never been a member of a gym before; I felt quite overwhelmed at first by the equipment and strange new language of deadlifts and bench presses. I neednt have worried, Base 13 is a remarkable place. Despite having lots of longtime members, the gym is very friendly and supportive and not at all cliquey. The small group sessions provide excellent support and supervision; and all the coaches Ive worked with are both knowledgeable and approachable. Im generally quite lazy about leaving reviews but this gym is very special.

Mohammed Islam Started training at Muscleworks 2 days ago and got myself the one year membership and so far, I am really pleased with the gym! Id like to start this review by thanking the owner of the gym and the rest of the staff who welcomed me into Muscleworks Gym with nothing but respect and smiles! I instantly felt welcomed and ready to train. The equipment is absolutely insane, a variety of everything you could possibly need in abundance for any parts of your body youre looking to train. The fellow gym goers have been really friendly and always offer their support and advice when need be. Some workouts which I am unsure of, I ask the brothers who look like the human version of the incredible Hulk to help me, which they always do, which is exactly what I need as a new starter to the fitness game. Muscleworks is exactly as described, old school gym, positive vibes all around and the vast majority of gym equipment available at our disposal is really second to none!

Ali Kassam Amazing club. The teacher has been more than a teacher to me. He is more like a mentor that wanted me and all the students to not only progress in the martial arts and in Class but to be ready for the real life challenges outside the class. I would feel comfortable talking about my issues that I was facing in life and couldnt even discuss some of them with anyone else he would advise me and always kept it confidential. I would also see sense arif as a father figure to me and a amazing teacher. If you want your child to be in a safe environment and to learn self defence properly and to have a real role model where children have none or very few nowadays then this is the place to go.

keith russell Having just renewed my annual membership for this pool today, it seemed a good time to acknowledge what a truly Talented Team Community they have. A Very friendly warm welcome at Reception for my first swim years back made me commit then to an annual membership. The same welcome very much features in 2025. This complete with Vigilant, helpful Lifeguards and their Seniors, The Swimming Teachers, A great housekeeper, and all the behind the scenes Management team. Its a fun place to come. Im a lanes swimmer each weekday morning. There are so many other great locals of all abilities that come together then, with our "Tribe" gaining new members all the time. Thank You to ALL
