Josie Rae Judge-Hodkinson Lizzie is an amazing personal trainer. I have been training with her once a week for a couple of months, and have really found the confidence and knowledge I was looking for, in order to safely and effectively lift weights. I had just been doing youtube workouts, running, and yoga until recently, and Ive been really impressed with how lifting has transformed my other practices, and the created the strength I want. Lizzie has a wealth of knowledge, and pays great attention to correct alignment. I highly recommend her.

Havovi K Absolutely fantastic gym! Couldnt recommend it enough. I knew immediately that this place was unique and a rare find. The trainers are brilliant, really take the time to teach and encourage you. Each week you build on strength, stamina, and skill. They have a very positive and healthy teaching method - challenging you but also motivating you! Stu and Sarah taught my course and each class with them was so much fun. A lot of work too, its not easy! But the sense of achievement that you feel afterwards is unmatched! Its the highlight of my week, and a very special community here for sure! Will continue coming for as long as i can :)

Google User I love this gym! Member of the Islington Branch. The gym is always clean, the staff is really nice and helpful, there is tons of equipment available and they have excellent personal trainers. It has everything a great gym can have and at a budget price. The only small complaint I have is that the opening hours are pretty limited, especially if you work till late at night. Wish theyd hire more staff so they can open earlier and close later (24 hour gym anyone?), but either way I have been a member for years and will remain a member :)

Price Hannah Bridget Ive been here 3 months and really enjoying it! I was brand new to the gym, and really didnt exercise, so I was nervous. Im also a pretty anxious person but I really wanted to take better care of my health as I get older. My PT Chris has been great at getting me comfortable, showing me the ropes, and understanding what I want to achieve. The facilities are nice, never too busy, and its tidy. I look forward to seeing how much I can achieve!

Prachi Priyadarshini When I started I was quite pleased with it. My induction class was good, I tried a few spin classes and they were fun too. Some of the PTs seemed friendly which is a bonus. The bathrooms and changing rooms are also kept clean. However, in the past few months I’ve noticed the services decline. A few weeks ago the AC was not working and it felt like working out in a sauna, it felt like there was no ventilation which felt like an awful thing during peak time when it was packed with people. That took a couple of days to get fixed. Recently, the gym was flooded in certain areas, and they eventually closed the gym again to fix it. It’s now been 7 days of the gym being closed… it wasn’t a planned closure which was communicated ahead of time. The fact that we have to still pay full while a fourth or more of the month the gym isn’t even open is not okay. Many of these factors completely disrupt my fitness routine and the basic quality of gym service you should be getting. Allowing access to other gyms while this one is shut down for days is still inconvenient because not all of us can accommodate that. The gym is also not 24/7 which a lot of others pointed out too and that makes it difficult because you have to plan your day around the gym rather than the other way around. Overall I echo other reviewers sentiments on school-going / younger groups of kids sitting idly on machines and chatting with friends for 30 mins. If you ask some of them how many sets they have left, you usually have to wait for the whole group to be done. Some people look offended if you ask them how many sets they have left even when they’ve just been sitting and scrolling on their phones and not using the machine. I’ve also had a run-in with a rude trainer recently but I can’t say that they’re all the same - I’ve had some good initial conversations with Frank and Leyla and if you look at the other reviews you’ll figure that it’s only the good PTs and decent equipment keeping this gym alive.
