1 /5 Miss C: Booked my 16-year-old daughter’s haircut at Sash Hair & Beauty. Was quoted £30 for a cut + £5 for a fringe, but she was charged £45 after a drying fee that was never mentioned. If youre going to charge to dry hair- let the customer know beforehand!
The stylist, Annie, was on the phone during the haircut, cut off more than asked, and asked how it looked while it was still wet. When I went in to discuss it, Annie was rude, dismissive, and even told me to “get lost” instead of apologising or offering any resolution.
Simran, the receptionist, who gave the original quote, was argumentative and unhelpful when I asked for Annie’s name. She initially refused to give it, which only made things worse. She had an opportunity to turn things around, but chose to be wrong and strong.
This could have been resolved with a simple apology or a small ÂŁ10 refund, but instead, both staff members chose to be defensive and disrespectful.
Unprofessional, dishonest, and poor customer service — avoid this salon.
