HayriiU Such a friendly and welcoming community. Coaches really know what they’re doing and are all super dedicated. Makes me feel like I’m in good hands and as a result I’ve really felt my strength and fitness dramatically develop in the last month. Members are all nice as well, puts a smile on my face each time I go to a class.

Daniel Toeuk Great place to climb. Staff are all super friendly, and the whole place is also very clean. I love the very relaxed atmosphere, and I really like the fact that they are constantly posting updates/videos on social media. It makes it much easier to get info on upcoming events and stay connected. I really enjoy the routes set here, I find them softer than some places but not too soft, it has helped me to gain the confidence to climb more difficult routes and allows me to challenge myself without making me feel like its impossible. There are also a lot of free workshops (members free, non member £25 I think) which is great for improving skills and meeting new people. I find City bouldering does cost a little more than other places but when you take into consideration the location, facilities, free workshops/classes (for members) and high levels of customer service provided I feel that it is more than worth it. I have been to many bouldering locations, and I would rank this place within the top 5 best places to climb in London (funny enough, their Aldgate location is also within my top 5). Quick update, proper heaters have been installed recently and has made a huge difference, as I used to find climbing here in the winter difficult. So a very welcome addition to the gym.

Karolis Have been going to this gym for a few years now and it has all the facilities that I need for training and it is well maintained overall. The staff working there are also really helpful and upbeat. Membership options and prices are still really good for the amount of things that it offers.

Makeda Bernard I had my very first CrossFit session with Johannes yesterday, and honestly, his coaching made all the difference. I came in feeling really nervous, but from the moment I arrived, he put me at ease with a simple reminder: “It’s just exercise.” That completely shifted my mindset and helped me settle in. Johannes was so attentive, even with a full class, he made sure I felt supported every step of the way. He pushed me to challenge myself without overdoing it and kept reminding me to focus on my journey rather than trying to keep up with everyone else. What really stood out was how genuine he was. At the end, he even reminded me to fuel properly after the session, a small but thoughtful touch that made a huge difference to my recovery. For someone who hasn’t exercised in years, I left feeling proud, encouraged, and excited to come back. Johannes is a fantastic coach who truly meets you where you are and brings out your best.

Vikki Mizon Ive been going to Ankor Pilates for 6 months and its made an enormous difference for me. Classes are frequent so suit my changing schedule, and the instructors are all really engaged, modifying if they need to. My back pain has improved so much. Highly recommend.
