Adam Wright Fantastic Gym with great coaches and community. I came to this gym after moving to Portsmouth on my working placement year between University and thought I would try something new to the regular gym which I am used to. This ended up being a quality choice. After having the 1 to 1 beginner session with Carl to take me through all of the CrossFit lifts to ensure I was able to do them correctly and safely, I felt involved in the gyms community straight away. Every coach is super friendly and knowledgeable on everything CrossFit! They are there to answer every question you have and ensure you are moving yourself and the weights safely and importantly - pushing yourself! I thoroughly enjoyed the summer beach CrossFit sessions that the gym offers as it’s an excuse to get a tan while working out! I also really enjoyed the gym individual and team competitions - an opportunity to really push yourself and see where you have improved. After moving to Portsmouth by myself, I didn’t know many people in the area, so having this community of friendly fitness fanatics who were up for pushing each other and also having a laugh really helped me out and I’m very appreciative of that. Well done Carl and Claire for what you do at this gym as it’s a really quality place. I wish this gym was in my home town where I live in Essex!

Oliver Scott A truly welcoming and friendly gym. Facilities are second to none, you feel like a pro athlete training in a top level setup. Sessions are very challenging and can be adapted to suit the needs of the athlete, with great advice from very well educated owners. Access to open gym is amazing for those who like some low key workouts or to fit in around shifts. If I wasn’t moving abroad, I wouldn’t have dreamt of handing my notice in.

Koyun Rai Phil is an exceptional manager, he tried helping me in anyway he could for my suspended code but despite not getting everything sorted out he maintained a professional and welcoming attitude that is amazing for the PureGym environment.

Nicole Falleur I used to go here as a kid around 1980 ! Its still here to this day ! My friends still take their children here now to swim & play in the park :-) dog friendly too

Jack Pippard No better place to train on the island!! Ive been with prodigy martial arts since opening last year and Im so thankful for people Ive met. This club is fully inclusive with all ages, genders and abilities. Its a fun, relaxed environment where everyone comes to help each over and learn together. If you wanna join a caring community of people this is the place for you.
