1 /5 Afrose Ameen: I got lashes done a few times here. The first time I got it done was really nice and I kept going back because of this and I live nearby. I got 2 full sets and 2 infills.
Within 2 days of my first infill, the lashes were falling out. I told the lash tech (Khadija) that the lashes were falling out and she told me that she ordered new glue.
I paid for another infill 10 days later and the appointment was done in 35 minutes and did not look full or complete. When I asked for a few more lashes to be stuck on (as it hadn’t only been 35 mins), the technician told me that if she added more, they would fall, even though they were very gappy. I didn’t push further as she didn’t seem to want to finish. The lashes were falling out again within a day. This time I told the lash tech/ owner that they were falling out straight away.
Previously, she told me that if customers have issues within a week, she resolves it for free. However when I mentioned that the lashes were gappy and falling out, the technician told me that she would fix it but I would have to pay £10 extra. I agreed without hesitation as it was not much to pay, but I did find it strange that she has certain rules for some customers and not others. It was also rather frustrating as I had just paid for an infill that only lasted 35 mins and then being asked to pay more. I have been getting hybrid lashes done for 8 years and I have never had an infill that has lasted less than an hour. It was also my birthday week and I would have been happy to pay anything to get them fixed- especially as it was too late for me to go elsewhere.
The lash tech tried to tell me that I wanted Russian volume (they were more expensive) and the reason the lashes aren’t full is because I paid for hybrid lashes. I have never had Russians before as they’re not my style. I wanted hybrids, but that doesn’t mean I deserve to have my lashes done in 35 mins, gappy and falling out within a couple of days!
Unfortunately, I also struggled with opening my eyes in the last appointment as several of my top and bottoms lashes were stuck (as they were done in a rush again). The lashes tech used a tool to separate them but was quite harsh so a few of my lashes were ripped out. I also had a red eye for a few days after but it settled afterwards
The lash tech has previously pressured me into writing a good review even though I didn’t feel ready to. Out of my 4 experiences with this place, 2 were good and 2 were bad. However the passive aggressive way the owner/ lash tech dealt with me combined with how unprofessional she was when things went wrong means that sadly it leaves me wanting to never return or recommend it to anybody!
