5 /5 Faustina Jayaprakash: Amazing, quick service and such a warm, welcoming environment! I’d rate them 7 stars if I could fr. Getting a haircut can be a daunting experience for me since my hair can be tricky to work with, but Rosa knew exactly what I needed and it was the first time I got a haircut that left me super happy and satisfied. She was so experienced, patient and accommodating, which put me at ease, and she even gave me styling tips. Overall it was a great experience (worth more than I paid for!) and I’m definitely coming back. So glad to have found a place where I can be a regular without burning a hole in my pocket. :)

1 /5 Selina Castillo-Velez: I’ve been here before, but the service has really gone downhill. The first time I came in, the woman doing my eyebrows was shouting at someone while working on me — completely unprofessional. When I went again today, a different woman did my treatment, but the experience was just as bad. She was on the phone the whole time, barely paying attention, and had a rude attitude. I asked for an eyebrow thread and a chin and upper lip wax, but without asking, she suddenly started threading my upper lip. Then she asked if I wanted my neck and face done, rushed through everything, and still charged me £20 — which is ridiculous considering there was still hair left. She was also very rough on my face and didn’t apply any oil or soothing product after the wax, leaving my skin red, sticky, and irritated — which isn’t good for your skin at all. When I mentioned it, she was dismissive and rude. As a returning customer, I wasn’t expecting to feel scammed. Unprofessional, rough, and overpriced — avoid this place.

1 /5 Lil P: This review relates to my experience in April this year. I used to come to this salon many years ago, but it is clearly changed and not for the better. A simple haircut should never be painful like someone is ripping your hair out of your roots, but that was my experience with a large sized hairdresser with dyed jet black long hair. The horror did not end there - I was left with flyaways from the hair being distorted from all the pulling and tugging of my wet hair (hair is at its most fragile when wet), and as a result my once sift shiny hair was rough twisted and felt like I had sand in it from the damaged cuticle. The other 5 star reviews must clearly be written by them or their friends, but there is another 1 star horrors - and the disparity shows that given there are only 2 of them, that it is the same people giving the nightmare that must be posting the amazing fake comments. Real shame, the owners wife was very good when she ran the place, and used to do the treatments herself, its gone downhill. Go elsewhere - anywhere else - trust me you cant get worse than Kut Kolor.
