5 /5 Nasser Al-Naama: I’m staying in Kensington and wandered past this place after seeing the reviews. I didn’t plan it. I just walked in. I’d already missed my first appointment, so when I finally came in for my bespoke facial with Lydia Silva, I wanted to soak in every second. It cost 125 pounds, and I’d pay it again without hesitation. Lydia is Portuguese, gentle, and tuned in in a way that feels almost extinct in London. My skin isn’t complicated, but I am. I carry years of complex trauma in my body, old injuries to my trust, my nervous system, my sense of safety. Vanity has always been my way of telling myself I’m still here, still worth looking after. Lydia seemed to understand that without me saying a word. She worked quietly, pacing everything so I could breathe into it. There was no rush, no abrupt movement, just a steady and thoughtful presence that made the outside world disappear. Inside, it was calm, a softness I rarely allow myself to fall into. The rest of the staff shared that same energy, warm, polite, and present without ever intruding. You feel it from the moment you step in, that you are being looked after. I left with my skin glowing, yes, but also with my mind quieter and my breath slower. For someone like me, that is not a small thing. It is why I would come back in a heartbeat. In a city where beauty often feels like a transaction, this felt like care. Real care. And that is something you do not forget.

5 /5 Independent Reviewer: Had one of the best facials ever last week with a therapist called Madelina. As well as the usual cleansing routine she was adept at face massage. I was a regular at Face Gym until last year but will now see her instead! When first face mask was on, she gave me a great scalp massage. And during 2nd mask, she massaged my hands, one of which had just come out of a plaster cast . Definitely going back for more of Madelinas magic touch.

1 /5 Zainab Asad: I had a very disappointing experience at Medi Spa leading up to my wedding. During my initial consultation, I expressed that I wanted a Hydrafacial and that I had never tried a peel before, as my skin is sensitive and clear. Natasha, the consultant, suggested a package that included a peel along with two Hydrafacials and some skin products, despite my concerns. My first Hydrafacial went fine, but during my second visit for the peel, things took a turn for the worse. The therapist Madalina seemed unsure of the protocol, which made me anxious. She began the procedure by wiping my face with a hot cloth, causing irritation, and when she applied the acid, the pain became unbearable. I felt like my skin was on fire, and she only attempted to cool it down once instead of the recommended four or five times. What should have been an hour-long treatment lasted only 35 minutes. Before leaving, I repeatedly told the therapist that my skin was burning, but instead of addressing my concerns, she sold me a kit to help cool off. The next day, I woke up to burns all over my face and sent a photo to Natasha, only to be told that my reaction was more severe than average. I was left waiting for two days for a follow-up. After contacting my private healthcare, I learned that I had suffered second-degree burns, which required urgent treatment. My GP confirmed the burns were infected and prescribed antibiotics. Natasha later admitted she should not have recommended the peel for my skin type and offered to reimburse me. This experience has had a significant negative impact on my mental health, especially with my wedding approaching. Ive spent a considerable amount on skincare to try to repair the damage, and I now have scarring from the burns. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have sensitive skin. Bear in mind that Medi Spa Kensington does not have insurance that would cover them for any claims. Meaning their customers are not covered for any personal damages caused by medi spa staff.

5 /5 bala basudev: I recently visited Kensington MediSpa for a deep tissue massage to ease my body pains, especially my back. It was just amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly, greeted me with a smile, the treatment was explained really well which made me feel at ease. During treatment I was impressed how relaxed I felt, the pressure was just right for me, the therapist, Madelena paid particular attention to my problem area, it really helped me. I would highly recommend Kensington MediSpa and thank you all the staff involved. I have booked another treatment and have recommended them to my friends as well.
