Jo Parkin Skip is an absolutely fantastic teacher and the all-levels yoga class that I have been attending has been wonderful. I come out feeling very relaxed and refreshed, as though I have thoroughly switched off from my thoughts and stretched/strengthened muscles in my body I barely knew were there! Skip works with everyones yoga ability, there are very experienced and fairly new (myself) students in her class and all are totally looked after. I cant recommend her class enough.

Nia vdP F45 is a super welcoming, inclusive gym - it really does feel like a family. The coaches know their members well and are always supportive and encouraging (even at 6am!). The classes are fun and varied, with specific sessions for cardio, strength and combo/hybrid, and the newly refurbished studio means you are training with brand new, high quality equipment. I would highly recommend this gym for anyone, no matter where you are on your fitness journey.

Mr Zen The gym is in a great location, very convenient and easy to access. However, the equipment is quite limited — there should definitely be more machines and workout options. Another issue is that the lockers are often occupied throughout the day with no monitoring or control, which makes it difficult for regular users to find available space. The biggest downside remains the hygiene in the men’s showers and changing rooms — they are often very dirty, with unpleasant smells and a clear lack of cleaning and maintenance. Overall, good location but poor management and hygiene standards.

Gymnasium Wandsworth | CrossFit + Hyrox - 87 Wandsworth High St

Jamie Inglis I have been going to gymnasium for nine months and have really enjoyed the classes they offer and the community they have built. The classes are high quality - well structured with blocks of programming, run by engaging and enthusiastic coaches. I used the classes to help prepare me for my first Hyrox and found they were well targeted at the event. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a mainly class-based gym, combining cardio and strength

Paige Carlin I went in with tight hips and pains in my back! Im a regular gym goer who loves to push her body, but doesnt always take care of it outside of the gym! Sandor was the perfect guy for the job! We discussed what could be the possible cause of it (from a gym stand point), what positions I feel the pain the most and what could help ease it. He was very easy to talk to and made sure I understood what was going on while also talking me through what my body needs and what I can do to help this not be a recurring issue (stretching, regular visits with him to get any and all knots out!) Its all about the TLC! I was over the moon leaving as my back and hips felt so much better.. he dis pre warn me that the next day might be sore, which with any massage you might be! But honestly I felt fantastic and I cant wait to see him again next month to get the same done again! And I also now stretch twice a day so it was a fantastic experience that Ive made sure Ive told everyone and anyone about his services!

Kosta Deteriorated Gym, and Not in the Good Way. Been a member for 6+ years. Have seen negligible reinvestment of gym membership fees. I’m talking upkeep of equipment, not procurement of 3 additional pull-up bar pulley stations to provide a grand total of six pull up bars, before counting the calisthetic bars. I can do pull ups at home. Grappling zone mats haven’t been replaced since I joined. Boxing ring cover is held together with duct tape. Boxing bags are falling apart (though those bags take some punishment keep grinding lads). Sauna’s out of order for almost 6 weeks, meaning it’s been good for nothing over flu season and the cold months of November/December. Incessant cleanliness issues in the changing rooms. Yes, we’ve received new pulley machines this year, but PureGym installed a new compliment battery of BootyBuilder machines, and back at GymBox all the carabiners for the cable machines have promptly gone walkies. Procurement have decided to stock the gym with 4 different brands of weights, meaning only the power racks have a decent number if weights, for everything else you have to go on a pilgrimage from one end of the gym to the other to rack up a symmetrical bar. Was going to give 3 stars until coming in today and not being able to find enough carabiners for the pull up cable stations… Only thing that keeps me going is the full padded-wall grappling zone, but this place doesn’t seem to appreciate that for the worth it has - there’s word that the grappling zone is going to go. Over 6 years I’ve introduced 8 members to the gym just thanks to that zone alone. Unable to get the same concessionary membership I have, all but 1 have discontinued their memberships, if the grappling zone goes I’ll have zero reason to point colleagues and training partners here. I remembered coming in to see a fully matted zone, a full size crash mat and a welcoming combat community, now it’s a sad six years later to see classes canned and the community at risk being pushed out. But hey, we got a new sled with HYROX stamped on it.
