1 /5 Kristina Zagorskaite: I attended a scheduled GLC class on Monday, 22 December 2025, at 1:30 pm. Upon arrival, no one was upstairs, so I politely went downstairs to ask if the class was happening. The duty manager responded with aggressive, rude, and intimidating behaviour, raised his voice, made hostile gestures, and repeatedly denied I had even been there—claiming the cameras could be checked.
He then said the class could not proceed because only one person had booked. This interaction was completely unprofessional, intimidating, and disgraceful. It left me distressed, emotionally shaken, and unable to continue my day or follow through with my plans, including attending the gym before travelling.
On top of this, staff frequently arrive late to classes, yet members are reprimanded for even minor delays—a clear double standard.
I have cancelled my membership and will not return. No member should ever be treated this way. PureGym Marylebone must address staff conduct immediately.
