Caterina Izzo Fortu’s Pilates classes are a game-changer! His energy and dedication to Pilates create a positive atmosphere from the start. He cares about your progress beyond just getting the exercises right. His classes are welcoming and inclusive and are not just about the physical workout; they incorporate mindfulness and body awareness, that leaves me looking forward to the next session. If youre looking for a Pilates teacher who combines expertise with a personal touch, Fortu is the one. He’s not just a teacher; hes your motivator and guide on the Pilates journey. Highly recommend!

BattleBox CrossFit - 4 Raven Rd

Jenna Patient Having trained alone in my garage for the last 4 years, I was craving something more challenging. After doing some research I reached out to Battlebox and Sue offered a call right away. We spent ages talking, she really listened to my needs and worries and was just really supportive. I joined a little while later and I am just so glad I did! I was apprehensive at first, worried about appearing inexperienced, but I neednt have worried! It is the least intimidating place Ive been, everybody is on their own journey and with different abilities and theres just a really positive good vibe of respect and support amongst one another, the opposite of what I used to experience at local gyms! I can honestly say its quickly become a safe haven for me. Its physically rewarding but most importantly mentally rewarding too. Sue, Paul, Emily and Katie are all pros and Ive been so appreciative of all their guidance, support and encouragement! Everyone genuinely cheering for me the first time I climbed to the top of the rope has been my highlight so far ❤️. Thank you Battlebox!

Leni I booked a group session with my friends for my birthday. As complete beginners we were looked after really well, we started basic and were able to work up to flips! I had an amazing time would definitely recommend anyone wanting good, patient coaching and a lot of fun!

Al Qawi Self Defence - Dora St

Ali Kassam Amazing club. The teacher has been more than a teacher to me. He is more like a mentor that wanted me and all the students to not only progress in the martial arts and in Class but to be ready for the real life challenges outside the class. I would feel comfortable talking about my issues that I was facing in life and couldnt even discuss some of them with anyone else he would advise me and always kept it confidential. I would also see sense arif as a father figure to me and a amazing teacher. If you want your child to be in a safe environment and to learn self defence properly and to have a real role model where children have none or very few nowadays then this is the place to go.

karen Dunnill Easy to get to, just a short walk from Hackney Wick station past quite a few cool looking bars & eateries. We had a seated view and were there for a gig. We were sat opposite the stage and had a good view. Seats werent that comfortable to be sat in for a long period, but acoustics were excellent creating a great sound. Limited food options, but drinks options were better. We were upstairs and bars had no queues unlike downstairs.

Climbing Gym Sen - 210 Newnham Terrace

Cole Boogaart Great gym tucked away in a great use of space. The style is like small gym Tokyo pump and the grading is like big B-Pump hard. If you want to level up, stick around this place because there will always be strong climbers frequenting this hall!
