1 /5 Patrice Boateng: £45 to cornrow my hair for underneath a wig. If that is not day light robbery I dont know what is. I have been to some top hair salons and the most I have been charged for straight back cornrows is £30. I didnt even wash my hair. Never again.

1 /5 Doreen Mukotekwa: Poor service I received, hair not washed properly resulting in a very itchy experience, dundruff showing that the washing was not proper. Paid £215 for that showdy service. Went back later but the owner was dismissive and argued that she had done a good service. Then said I should only have a wash and dry. After the wash hair looked like it was had been locked 2 weeks ago. I had so much faith in them but not anymore.

5 /5 Wendy Adebolu: I really had a lovely experience here, after having a fair share of mean stylists previously i decided to try them out. This salon is awesome, the stylist i encountered was a very empathetic person and she handled my hair so well, she even recommended products to help my thinning edges and gave useful advise on how to groom and take good care of my hair and was also very professional, no noise they honour your appointment time(which is not so common for african salons). I will definitely go back, this is now my stylist as long as i keep staying in Ilford!
