THB Fitness (The Health Boutique ltd) -

Rating: 5 /5
Alex I would highly recommend THB if you are considering a gym membership. Swimming facilities are fabulous too. The whole place is run on genuine passion and extensive knowledge. A real oasis in the chaos of the larger corporate establishments.

Christopher Stansbury Great pool, great staff and great cafe! Gym is small and personal and normally very quiet. Downstairs dry changing is better than wet change for gym.

PureGym Hastings - Bexhill Rd

Rating: 4.5 /5
Aminah Azad I started at this gym in September, when it opened and go mainly for the classes and it hasnt disappointed me! The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and motivating. They are open to what exercises we do in class and take feedback well. Theyve been able to answer all my questions so far and there has been many. A big shout out to Mark who showed my anxious self around the gym on the open day. Felicity, Hannah, Paige and Louise, you ladies are fantastic at what you do. Keep up the fantastic work you are doing.

Tranquility Yoga - Herons Ghyll

Rating: 4.8 /5
Jessica Holdstock I became a member at Tranquility in summer of 2024 and have found it to be incredible value for money. I’ve been doing yoga on and off since I was a teen but Tranquility offers something beyond the average yoga class. There’s no perfecting and honing postures, pushing yourself harder and further like a ballet class (although you can do that if you want to), it’s a “come as you are and do what feels good” studio with all the classes supporting a holistic and inclusive approach. I don’t feel self conscious but the varied classes and the inclusion of breathwork (pranayama) and meditative techniques has improved my overall wellbeing and finally given me a more positive relationship with my body. I haven’t found a class at Tranquility I don’t like and have progressed my practice and am still able to challenge myself when I want to. What’s especially appealing for me as a working mum is the variety of classes offered early evening so I can work around the work day and doing bedtimes. Plus it’s set in gorgeous countryside and there’s a whole load of workshops and extra events hosted there that are great if you spiritually curious and looking to expand your practice. I honestly can’t recommend highly enough - one of the most positive introductions to my life in some time.

Yoga Yurtopia - London

Ling Yang I came for a whole day yoga retreat. I havent done something like that before (although I have experience with the individual elements like cacao ceremony, sound healing, restorative yoga etc). The experience was beautiful and the lunch was fantastic! Johnny and his team really put a lot of thought and effort into making the day special for the participants. Would be back again!

Norman Jonas JANET. SMALL MOVEMENTS ARE MEANINGFUL Learning to feel my body and understand more about its anatomy has helped me to improve my movement in the activities I enjoy, such as cycling, walking, and gardening. I realise that seemingly small movements can in fact impact my whole posture, and that I can do a lot to help myself by using some of the Franklin “tools”, such as imagery, and self touch plus some easy anatomy know how.
