I joined Energie Fitness two years ago and, back then, it was an excellent club. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about members. The equipment was well maintained, the classes were fantastic and well-run, and everything — from the toilets and showers to the yoga studio and the Yard — was spotless and well managed. There were always plenty of staff and PTs around to help, and the atmosphere was positive and motivating.
Sadly, things have gone completely downhill since the change of ownership. Every one of the original staff and trainers has left. Classes are now often cancelled at short notice, the timetable is rarely accurate, and they still list trainers who left long ago.
Most concerning is the shocking lack of cleanliness. This week the toilets, showers, and public areas have been filthy — the smell alone is awful. The same dirty mop is being used everywhere, including the showers and toilets. Hand soap is watered down, there are no antibacterial wipes to clean equipment anymore, and both the studio and yard floors are grimy and clearly not maintained.
It’s genuinely disappointing to see how far this gym has fallen. My membership expires in two months, but I’ll be moving to another club well before then. Energie Fitness really needs to take a serious look at its management, cleaning standards, and customer experience — this is not acceptable.
