4 /5 Morgan Hayes: The competition pool is deep from one side to the other and has spotlights on the ceiling which help create quite an impressive atmosphere. The attempt to not allow footwear in the changing rooms (in Japan they manage this more nearly but theft is less an issue there ) is welcome as is the instructions to shower before swim. Changing room would benefit from simplifying: get rid of the cubicles and stick to open plan + showers + lockers ( the Oasis pool is a good example ) for a less cramped feel . Nice vibe overall .

2 /5 Callum ONeill: Mainly use the centre for gym so the review relates to that. In summary, if you can go at times other than evenings then it’s great. If not, it’s terrible. The gym is unusable during peak evening hours- for instance having only 2 sets of pulley cables for that many members is a surprise. Also shuts quite early on weekends. Opening hours over the Christmas holidays are the same. E.g. Shutting at 5pm on 29th, and 30th or 1pm on New Years Eve. These aren’t bank holidays and a lot of us work the inter-holiday period.

1 /5 Bez: The gym environment has become extremely toxic recently, staff dont seem to care at all as they seem to be friends with the users. Shame as clissold has one of the best gyms in any of the better leisure centres in or around hackney. I now regularly go to Britannia or Sobell or try to come during the day. Aside from that they need some lockers on the gym floor, even some basic ones would do on the walls.

5 /5 Izzy M: Im a new-ish gym goer and I go here for the gym, treadmill terrace, sometimes the sauna and have used the squash courts a couple of times. Such a great facility for the community. It feels like they care about making it a good space for everyone (theyve made a bunch of improvements like updating the layout of the gym, new equipment, bigger soft play area). It feels pretty friendly and welcoming to me. Really rate this leisure centre

Brett Sanders I have known and had coaching with one of the SkyLimit Coaches, James, for many years now - and he always brings some new clarity to the table to help me to find the solutions to my problems. He is an excellent Coach due to the manner in which he approaches the challenges I talk to him about, and how I never leave feeling like I have been "told what to do" but been given the tools to create change myself. This is very empowering in itself. All in all, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend James and the SkyLimit Coaches to someone I knew!
