Virgin Active - 17A Old Ct Pl

Rating: 3.2 /5
Quietly Rated A solid gym with a recent renovation that brought in more equipment and upgraded its offering. The space is large and rarely overcrowded, even during peak times. Equipment is mainly from Technogym and generally in good condition. There’s a pool, sauna, and muscle recovery zone, as well as decently sized changing rooms. Classes are on offer, and while not exceptional, they’re fine for regulars. Staff is friendly and the vibe is clean and professional, though the music can be unnecessarily loud. Main downside: the price tag. It’s starting to feel steep for what’s on offer. Quietly rated: worth joining – unless the prices go up.

Kensington Physio & Sports Medicine - South Kensington

Rating: 4.9 /5
jerome fileni I was referred to Jacky following a nasty ankle injury - which took me out for a few weeks. Jacky was amazing to define a clear program to accelerate my recovery and get me back to normal activity safely and adequately: (re)gaining mobility; strenghtening and then getting back to impact activities (jumping; running). Cannot recommend Jacky enough. He clearly changed the pace of my recovery + provided multiple exercises and tips to maintain the fitness work going forward.

Anytime Fitness Kensington - 2-24 Kensington High St

Rating: 3.4 /5
Thunder Cat I am being generous with 1 star because 0 doesnt exist, for years this has been the most run down anytime fitness in London, machines are outdated or broken for years, every year l go back and expect change only to find things havent improved, plus they should invest in a company that does deep cleaning because the bathrooms are a mess, you previously mentioned it would change, that was years ago as well and it got worse. If are planning to make improvements put a time and date and for goodness sake, get those machines fixed or replaced! Its getting tiring to see the "out of order" signs on your equipment!

Retrofit London - South Kensington

Rating: 4.5 /5
Dr Afshin A tidy boutique gym, though on the smaller side. The range of machines and equipment is somewhat limited, making it less suited for serious or advanced athletes, but perfectly fine for warming up or a lighter session. They no longer provide towels, which is a bit inconvenient. I’ve been a few times on a short five-session pass and for a week’s access for temporary use it does the job nicely. Overall, a decent option if you’re nearby and looking for something simple and clean.

Annalisa Pilates Studio -

Rating: 5 /5
Polet Sandy I’ve known Annalisa for over two years and have consistently been impressed by her professionalism, kindness, and expertise as a Pilates instructor. She’s warm, approachable, and makes every class welcoming for all ages and levels. Annalisa offers both one-to-one and group sessions, always personalising them to suit each person while keeping things motivating and fun. Even the small touches, like providing towels in her studio, make the experience even better. My father went to a class with her for his birthday and left feeling younger instead of older, thanks to her encouragement and energy. If you’re looking for a skilled and supportive Pilates instructor in Knightsbridge, I couldn’t recommend her more!
