1 /5 Anna Baryshnikova: I’ve been to Blanche Beauty several times and tried different nail technicians — overall, it was fine. However, today’s visit was a truly disappointing experience. From the very beginning, I clearly explained that I have a very sensitive cuticle and specifically asked not to use nippers and to keep the work around the cuticle to an absolute minimum. I make this request every time, and until now, every technician has understood and respected it. I would always rather have a slightly less “perfect” result than end up with cuts or inflammation — safety is non-negotiable in any manicure.
Unfortunately, today there was a total lack of communication with Galina. I always book appointments with non-junior technicians, precisely because I expect not only good results but also a high standard of safety and professionalism. This time, however, not only was my request ignored by any reason, but when I gave feedback to the salon, they deflected all responsibility and claimed I had somehow insisted on this type of manicure — seriously, with cuts?
At the same time, the salon enforces an extremely strict cancellation policy — no exceptions, not even for emergencies. On the one hand, that’s understandable: they want to protect their technicians’ time. But on the other hand, it’s very clear that they do not apply the same level of care or respect toward their clients. You can’t have it both ways — demanding rigid commitment from customers while offering the bare minimum in accountability when something goes wrong.
Blanche Beauty knows that many Russian-speaking clients in London come to them expecting high-quality, safe manicures, which are genuinely hard to find here. But instead of honoring that trust, they take it for granted. The result I got today — as shown in the photos — should never, under any circumstances, happen during a professional manicure. Cuts like this are simply unacceptable.
