1 /5 Remi (Remi): I used this salon on a regular basis as it was very close to where I live. They slammed the phone down on me when I called to cancel my last appointment. Because of mobility issues It was very easy and quick to get to with the use of a walker. On one particular occasion I realised I was in too much pain to keep my appointment, especially as to have my waxing done, I would have to walk down a steep, narrow stairway to the room, then back upstairs to have my manicure and pedicure done.
He didn’t give me a chance to offer to pay for the services because I realised it was very short notice. I had done this on another occasion as a curtesy, realising the inconvenience it caused. I too own and run a business where I deal with cancellations.
It was profoundly rude, disrespectful and to a degree, discriminatory towards a disabled person.
