1 /5 Crystal Essence: This place is very unprofessional. When you phone them for a booking they tell you they operate with a no appointment basis. I told them I was coming in on a specific day for a hair cut but when I attended in the afternoon they told me that the hairdresser will be in later in the afternoon as he has an appointment in the afternoon. When I attended they said that I was not booked in. When I told them over the phone I was advised it was a no appointment basis, she then said they do not operate with appointments. I was confused why she had to check the appointments book and why she said the hairdresser had appointments this afternoon so would be coming this afternoon? I was so confused but this wasn’t the first time they did this. Once I came from far and I was told the dresser would be in the morning. I waited for over an hour just to be told he was on his way now. My sister also had similar experiences where she had to take time off and was told she didn’t have an appointment and had to wait for 1-2 hours. Another issue is that they give you a quote over the phone, but once they are done with your hair, they charge you more. I only went to Aycan because my hairdresser had moved and I had no where else to go. I won’t be going to Aycan again as they are very unprofessional and don’t show much care to their customers.

5 /5 KT T: I love this hairdressers! Walked in randomly a year or so ago as it’s near my house and now won’t go anywhere else. I can just sit and relax as I totally trust that I’ll like the cut. He is super quick, really reasonably priced and friendly too!

5 /5 Betul BASBUGAN: The staff was so friendly and I had a great time getting my hair done! A really reasonable price for a amazing result. I couldnt be happier. This will be my regular hair salon from now on. They also do facials, which I cant wait to try.

5 /5 Rachel Albert: I know you cant make an appointment, so I am happy to wait. Aycans blowdry is £20 for medium length hair, compared to at least £25 everywhere else. Aycan is top class. Rae

1 /5 Shireen Lisa Zengin: What a hack job!! I usually like him as he’s very friendly and price is always reasonable. But he cut off too much of my hair and said that is what I wanted, when the photo I showed him, was not that short. He was about to cut off even more, until I told him to stop cutting. It was a RUSHED job. He even admitted to it not being done good. I felt like a practice bust. He still took full price as well. I have to wear a hat now for the next 2 months at least.
