5 /5 Mike Brackenbury: I started Basic Pilates in my 60s and have been doing it for a decade now. The main reason was for fitness and mobility. The main benefits for someone of my age are core strength, suppleness and balance Sarah is a fantastic teacher, she really understands the problems associated with ageing and lack of confidence in doing exercise too. I would fully recommend her to anyone of any age and any ability. She will bring out the very best in you and let you continue into older age feeling much stronger, fitter and happier all round. I love her

5 /5 CM: The reformer pilates here is amazing. Sarah is friendly and professional, and very quickly identified the imbalances in my body and suggested adjustments for better alignment. Small class sizes (2 in my session). 10/10 will be back!

5 /5 Jane Leigh: I attend fundamental Pilates, Pilates with Props and Calm Club at The Studio. I joined to strengthen my core and support my back as well as to get exercise with others . As I have improved, my core is now stronger and my back is no longer achy and I feel much better aligned. Sarah demonstrates movements and comes around the room to correct and support positioning. She is very positive and her instructions are really clear and she provides lots of feedback to encourage us! Movements are slow and controlled and I prefer this precise approach with quality of movement. Sarah is very caring and makes people feel very welcome. She challenges us to improve and praises us when we do well. We also have social opportunities after class where we all meet up for dinner and I was lucky enough to go on the first Pilates Retreat that Sarah put on earlier this year to Spain which was wonderful! Why not book a session to see if you like it - the classes are friendly with a mixture of ages, shapes and sizes and everyone works to their individual ability .

5 /5 Jonathan Jewett: I’ve attended Sarah’s yoga and Pilates classes for the last 4 years. As a land worker the aches and pains in my body were beginning to inhibit my ability to carry out my job. The improvements have been life changing, most notably my own work practice, adjusting my approach and being aware of my own body and best practice. Sarah’s teaching methods are evidently based in an immense foundation of knowledge and understanding of the human body. I would fully recommend Sarah at the Studio to anyone who feels aches and pains.

My strength, posture and flexibility has definitely improved. Im also more aware of my body and am able to isolate specific areas. Sarah is very positive and upbeat.
