Deirdre Harding Zoe Bonnett is a brilliant, empathetic and encouraging Pilates teacher, who adapts all of her exercise sessions to an individuals needs, so clients with hip or knee replacements, back or shoulder issues can fully participate in her classes, without feeling discriminated against. As well as stimulates those who are very good or hypermobile to upscale their abilities. A truly personalised service. She explains each exercise, demonstrates it and monitors how individuals are doing. Her price is reasonable for the individual support she offers and I thoroughly recommend her Pilates classes. I have had to miss a few lessons recently but attendance has kept me pretty supple, despite a total hip replacement, a wrist that is plated and screwed and a history of lower back problems, as well as having increased my core strength, balance and stamina. I can cope with working as well as looking after a very energetic 3 year old grand child who expects me to participate in his soft play, swimming etc. Plus, I believe Zoes Pilates lessons help me to stay in shape so that I can, if I wish, wear my vintage clothes that are 50 years old.

Sam Rathmell Define Pilates has been a fantastic addition to my running and resistance training. Alex is extremely knowledgeable and understands how to teach people to move safely. Every class has been varied and has challenged me just the right amount. If you’re interested in Pilates or just want to move better this is definitely a place you should check out.

Danielle Woolcott-King Ive had a couple of sessions with Kirsty now and totally recommend her! Ive never had personal training before and Im actually really enjoying our sessions which I didnt think would. Kirsty has a very holistic approach to fitness and wellbeing which means she isnt just helping my body get fitter but is helping me adjust my relationship with exercise, build up my confidence and improve my mental and physical well-being. She is also really lovely and makes something that could be intimidating a fun and rewarding process. The garden and studio are really great spaces and the sessions a very reasonable price for 1:1 training.

Emma Williamson Can’t recommend this place highly enough. I came across them when I was looking for strength training classes as a complete novice. I’ve been a member for a couple of months now and just love coming here. Classes are challenging but tailored to your abilities allowing you to see weekly progression. The team are friendly and encouraging and will always take the time to inform and correct posture or moves if needed. Memberships are fairly priced and the unlimited package is amazing value. There really is something for everyone here. Honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done was signing up to this gym. If you want to improve fitness with people who genuinely care about your wellbeing this is the place for you!

Kirstie Hart Joined for the Joint Pain Programme struggling to walk without pain. I was out of breath simply walking to the toilet and struggled to get up and down from the floor when playing with the grandchildren. I was facing the possibility of a painful steroid injection and medication for high cholesterol and blood pressure. Coupled with a change to a healthy eating plan I achieved a weight loss of 7stones (almost 45kgs). I complimented the gym programme with walking a weekly Park Run. As my strength improved I went on to running the 5k park run progressing to 10k events. This year, 2 years after starting the gym programme I successfully completed my first half marathon. I now no longer require the medication previously advised. My blood pressure and cholesterol are now healthy. Nuffield gave me and improved my confidence in exercise. The staff are amazing and still available post course for support and advice, particularly Lauren from Tunbridge Wells. The course gave participants the opportunity to explore all areas of the gym including the swimming pool and fitness classes in a friendly and inclusive way. We were encouraged with support to build our own training programme selecting areas of the gym we enjoyed whilst keeping a varied programme to work all areas of the body. We were also shown adaptations for any specific health needs. I was at a great risk of serious health problems which have been addressed with the support of Nuffield and my life has completely changed for the better.
